Just Peachy

Helllllooo!
School is D O N E!
Which means that I can now spend more time blogging my little heart out. So excited!
I'm just going to cut right to the chase and say that this outfit is begging for summer drives and iced tea runs.
These peach colored jeans are so light and fun, and I love the chunky look of the wooden wedges!
In other news, the band Foster the People's debut album 'TORCHES' just came out Monday and it is fantastic!
It's already the soundtrack to my summer and I suggest you go get it right away!
Wow, lots of exclamation points in today's post. I guess it just shows my excitement about my new found blogging time...!

Have a happy sunshiny day!

Caps, Gowns, and...Hermès Bracelets?

This is my "If-money-weren't-an-option-what-I-would-wear-to-graduation" post.
I'm a pretty simple person when it comes to nicer events, so whatever I wear has to be comfortable, and can't involve lugging a huge purse around.
It's no surprise to me that my graduation would be any different! I love the simple look to this with an added kick in the dress pattern and the clutch color.
After tonight, I'll have much much more time to spend here on le blog and little DIY projects. I'm just SO excited!

Have a splendid afternoon!

There Has Been Rain...

I guess that I'm getting my last few wintery outfits out of my system!
I have so much to say about this outfit, the first thing being that I want to put it on RIGHT NOW!!
I tossed the idea of a hat back and forth, and came to the conclusion that this outfit needed a little somethin' somethin'.
I've seen this hat in all sorts of cute outfits and figured, why not? Surely I can't go wrong with one hat!
Anywayyyyy, I'm a l m o s t done with school (one day left!) and am getting really really excited to post recipes that I've tried in the last month, and just post more in general.

Happy blogging!

For a Rainy Day in May...

Correction: it's actually been a rainy, hail-ey, lightningy and thundery day.

Hello my bloggy friends! I cannot apologize enough—nor do I expect you to for give me anytime soon—for not posting these last two, er three, weeks.
As I approach graduation things just keep getting more crazy! Luckily, this is the last week that school will preoccupy my blogging mind.

Yes, the title speaks the truth.
So far today it has rained, hailed, lightninged, and thundered.
Ridiculous!
DOES THE WEATHER NOT KNOW THAT IT'S MAY?!?!

Needless to say, I needed something cozy and cute to wear to church this morning so I threw on a little something inspired by the outfit shown below.

Love collared shirts, love layered necklaces, love leather totes.
(I paired those pieces with a pair of suede wedges and skinny jeans and I was set; improvising isn't always a bad thing)

Until next time,
